Moral Stories Shankaracharya and Lamp

Shankaracharya and Lamp

Read Moral Stories at  https://Moralstoriesandquotes.blogspot.com

One night Shankaracharya was desperately searching for something on the street outside his small hut.

When his pupil returned from his errand, he saw this and curiously asked the Master, “Aacharya, what are you looking for here on the street at this hour?”

Shankaracharya replied, “I lost my needle, I am looking for it.”

The pupil joined him in the search, but after searching for a while, he asked, “Can you try and recollect where you might have dropped it?”

Shankaracharya said, “Of course, I remember. I dropped it near the bed in the hut.”

The pupil, utterly astonished at the strange answer, said, “Aacharya, you say you lost it inside the house, then why are we looking for it outside?”

Shankaracharya innocently replied, “There is no oil left in the lamp, so it is pitch dark inside the house. Hence I thought of searching for it outside, since there is enough street light here.”

While holding back his laugh, the pupil said, “If you lost your needle inside the house, how could you even expect to find it outside?”

Shankaracharya simply smiled back at the pupil and said, "Isn't that what we do? We run to far away temples and walk up mountains to search for what we have lost inside ourselves. We are all seeking outside what we have lost inside us. Why? Just because it is pitch dark inside.

Silly, aren’t we?"

"Light the Lamp inside you and find your lost treasure right there in"

“A rain drop from the sky: if it is caught by clean hands, is pure enough for drinking.
❥❥❥
If it falls in the gutter, its value drops so much that it can’t be used even for washing your feet.
❥❥❥
If it falls on a hot surface, it will evaporate... If it falls on a lotus leaf, it shines like a pearl and finally,
❥❥❥
if it falls on an oyster, it becomes a pearl...
The drop is the same, but its #existence & #worth depends on whom it is associated with.”...

Moral Stories -The King and Macaw Parrots

✨The King and Macaw Parrots

Read moral stories at
Https://Moralstoriesandquotes.blogspot.com

Once upon a time, there was a king who had gone to visit neighboring kingdoms. He was gifted a pair of baby Macaw Parrots by the king of the last kingdom where he was visiting. They were the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. So, upon returning to his kingdom, he called for a bird trainer and asked him to train macaw parrots.

The king also arranged a place in the palace garden for the parrots. He often looked at them from his palace window. As time passed, one day the trainer came to the palace and informed the king that though one of the parrots was flying majestically high in the sky, the other one was not moving from its branch since the day it had arrived.

Upon hearing this, the king summoned trainer and healers from the nearby kingdoms. They all tried their best, but couldn’t make the parrot fly! He even asked his courtiers to try to find a way to make the parrot fly but they all failed. The parrot was not moving from his branch at all. Finally, after trying everything, the king thought that maybe he needs someone who may be more familiar with natural habitat. He asked his courtier to get a farmer from the countryside and take him to the parrot to see if he can understand the problem with the parrot.

The next morning, the king was thrilled to see the parrot flying high above the palace gardens. He asked his servant to call that farmer to meet him. The servant quickly went and located the farmer, who came and stood before the king. The king asked him, “How did you make the parrot fly?”

With his hands folded with respect, the farmer said to the king, “It was very easy, your majesty. I simply cut the branch where the bird was sitting.”

Moral: We are all gifted with energy to find a success in our life, but fail to gather a courage which is required to reach heights of success and end up clinging to the things that are familiar to us. We need to free ourselves from our comfort zone to explore new opportunities and find a success beyond our capacity.

Moral Stories - Sometimes Just let it be

Sometimes Just let it be

Moral stories at https://Moralstoriesandquotes.blogspot.com

Once Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers. This was in the initial days. While they were traveling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, “I am thirsty. Please get me some water from that lake there”.

The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that some people were washing clothes in the water and, right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing the lake right at the edge of it. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, “How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink?!” So he came back and told the Buddha, “The water in there is very muddy. I don’t think it is fit to drink”.

So, the Buddha said, let us take a little rest here by the tree. After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake. This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to the Buddha.

The Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said, “See, You let the water be and the mud settled down on its own. You got a clear water. It didn’t require any effort”.

Moral: Your mind is also like that. When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down. We can judge and take best decisions of our life when we stay calm

Moral Story - S.O.S. Approach

S.O.S. Approach

An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h in 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with Tempo Mach 2 appears.
The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus flight, boring flight isn’t it? Take care and have a look here!”

He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, only to swoop down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks, "Well, how was that?"

The Airbus pilot answers: "Very impressive, but now have a look here!"

The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly stubbornly straight, with the same speed. After five minutes, the Airbus pilot radioed, "Well, what are you saying now?"

The jet pilot asks confused: "What did you do?" The other laughs and says, "I got up, stretched my legs, went to the back of the flight to the bathroom, got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon cake and made an appointment with the stewardess for the next three nights - in a 5 Star hotel, which is paid for by my employer. "

The moral of the story is:
When you are young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, comfort and peace are not to be despised either.
This is called S.O.S.: Slower, Older, Smarter.

Dedicated to all my friends who like me likes the S.O.S. approach! ✈️😂😂😂

A Rich Mouse and a Holy Man

A Rich Mouse and a Holy Man

Read moral stories at HTTPS://moralstoriesandquotes.blogspot.com

Once, there lived a Holy Man. He was poor and depended on alms. He would eat a little food and keep the rest in a begging bowl, hung high up on a peg. A Mouse had seen this, and used to jump up and help himself to the food.

One day, a friend of the Holy Man visited him. After they had eaten, they started chatting. The Holy Man could not concentrate and kept tapping on the ground with a stick to scare the Mouse away.

The friend asked, “What are you doing? Why don’t you listen to me, properly?” “Excuse me!” said the Holy Man. “It’s just that dreadful Mouse! He eats away whatever food I manage to save.” Wondering how the Mouse could jump so high, the friend said, “The Mouse must have put aside a lot of food, which must give him extraordinary energy to jump so high.”

They then, dug and found the hoard of food that the Mouse had gathered and took it away.

The Mouse returned and found his hoard of food missing, and was very sad. He lost all interest in stealing food from the Holy Man’s bowl.

Identify the enemy’s source of strength to defeat him.

Moral Story - Rabbit n Tortoise The New Race

* * Best Motivation ..! *
Read moral stories at HTTPS://moralstoriesandquotes.blogspot.com
In the rabbit and the tortoise race, the rabbit loses due to sleep. Tortoise wins but rabbit does not calm down. He realized that although he was more likely to run fast, he lost sleep due to sleep. He proposed a race to tortoise again to end this year of defeat. The tortoise, who believes that he can win, was happy. The race was resumed. The rabbit didn't make the mistake this time. He did not stop. Did not sleep As a result, the fast rabbit won the race. The slow-moving turtle loses.

* But once the Taste of Victory tortoise was not ready to give up. The Tortoise went back to the rabbit. Said, 'I heard you. Now listen to me. Let us race again! 'The rabbit laughed and said,

 * "Once I lost due to my mistake. How do I make that mistake again? * But if you only want to lose, put on the race again! As the rabbit approached, the tortoise said, 'But this time I will decide the way of the race!' The rabbit, who was sure of his own speed and the slow pace of the tortoise, made him happy.

Tortoise decided the race route. The race started again Rabbit was not going to make a mistake. He ran fast. The tortoise stayed behind but suddenly the rabbit stumbled as he escaped. Stopped on the spot. * The river was flowing in his way. * The tortoise had made its way. The rabbit could not swim. The rabbit stayed there. The slowly approaching tortoise got there. He looked at the rabbit and jumped into the river and reached the shore. * Tortoise overcomes the rabbit's intelligence with his own intelligence. * The lost rabbit kept thinking. He could not swim, so he realized that he had lost.

Rabbit Said, '

* Dude, you don't want to race today. Wherever there is land, I will take you back. Take me back wherever the river lies. If we continue to do this together, we will both be next! '*

Not everyone has all the qualities or qualities. But each one has some qualities. What we do not have, others can have. You can have what others don't have.

* By using each other's qualities, we can fill our shortcomings. The best achievement can be achieved. *

 * There is more to the power of each other than spending money on defeating each other. *

* Rather than simply making the mistakes of someone else in pursuit of personal dignity, ignoring the mistakes of them and using them to see the best of them, this is a truly successful activity! *

* Finding helpful people and helping them see who we can find helpful is the key to achieving this.

Some people have the ability to imagine, but the imagination does not have the ability to pass the truth. Some have the power; But there is no proper planning ability. Some have organizational ability; But there is no decision making. There is decision-making; So there is no leadership ability.

At this point, the one who has the right use of his qualities to move on to the team, that is, to win the battlefield too! *

If you want to have success, it is very important to sell such qualities and qualities!

You should avoid hiding in your own cell by stepping foot in the stomach like a snail in the moment of crisis!

On the contrary add more men.
Discover old harmony!

Moral Stories - Rotten Tomatoes

 Story of tomatoes!

Read moral stories at
HTTPS://moralstoriesandquotes.blogspot.com

🍅 Once a teacher asked her students to bring some tomatoes from a plastic bag to school.

On each tomato, the children wanted to write down the name of the person they hated.

In this way, they wanted to bring in as many tomatoes as they could.

On the 7th day, all the children brought their tomatoes that were properly named.

Some brought two, some three, some five, and some twenty tomatoes.

The teacher then told everyone that they wanted to take the tomatoes with them wherever they went in two weeks.

As the days progressed, the children began to complain of tomatoes and the smell of tomatoes.

🍅 Students who had a large number of tomatoes complained that their burden was too heavy to carry and the odor was too loose.

After 7 weeks, the teacher asked the students, "How did you feel this week?"

🍅 Children complained about dirty smells and heavy weight of tomatoes. Especially those who brought a lot of tomatoes.

The teacher said, "This is precisely what you, in your heart, hate about someone you don't like."

2 Hate makes the heart sick and you carry it with you wherever you go.

🍅 "If you can't tolerate tomato odor for a week, imagine how much bitterness you are dealing with every day can affect your gut!"

The heart is a beautiful garden. It requires regular weeding, removing unnecessary weeds.

Forgive those who are angry with you.

That will make room in your heart for storing new good things.

Let us all work together. Not bitterness, but to get some good.
